Symposium in honour of Gilles Brassard & Charles Bennett
Charles Bennett (IBM Research) and Gilles Brassard (Université de Montréal) were awarded the 2023 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, the world’s largest science prize, for their foundational work in quantum information. In honour of this prize, we are organising a symposium at the KNAW (The Trippenhuis in Amsterdam) on 14 November 2022, from 19.00 –21.00, where both Gilles Brassard and Charles Bennett will speak.
Until November 2022, Brassard performs as ‘Turing Chair for Quantum Software’ at UvA, and he is hosted at QuSoft at NWO institute CWI.
Date: 14 November 2022, 19.00 – 21.00.
Venue: KNAW, The Trippenhuis, Kloveniersburgwal 29, 1011 JV Amsterdam
